Welcome to the FOTCL website! Please read the many things we do to support the Children's Department of the HB Public Library. For more information on the FOTCL and all our activities, please e-mail our president Dan Page
The Friends of the Children's Library (FOTCL) is an all-volunteer group that supports the Children's Department of the Huntington Beach Public Library. We sponsor a variety of educational and informative activities for children in our community throughout
the year: monthly shows (ballets,
musical performances, magic shows, and plays), an Authors Festival,
a Festival of Folktales in June (which kicks off the library's Summer Reading Program),
and a Holiday Tree Trimming Party in December.
We meet the 1st Friday of each month at 9 AM in Room B in the lower level of the Central Library (except August – and federal holidays the first week of the month may alter our schedule). For more information on joining our group, please click on the link below for our current brochure and membership application.
